I’ve always been someone who feels most at home in the simple, everyday parts of life. When I’m not photographing, I’m usually with my husband and our dogs or spending time at the barn. Horses have been part of my world for more than twenty years, and the barn has a way of slowing life down and reminding me what matters.
Photography started for me back in high school as a hobby I shared with my dad. It shifted from “just for fun” to something more when a friend asked me to take their senior photos. Seeing how much those images meant to them made me realize how powerful it is to capture a moment someone will look back on for years.
I come from a family of photographers, so storytelling through images feels woven into who I am. I’m especially drawn to the honest moments — the way people laugh together, the quiet connection between humans and animals, the little bits of life that happen naturally when no one is trying too hard. Those are the moments that inspire me.
Photography lets me freeze the pieces of life that move a little too quickly, and I feel grateful every day that I get to share that with others. It’s real, it’s meaningful, and it’s something I truly love.
I’m a photographer who is inspired by real emotion. I love capturing raw moments of love and joy between humans and animals, and I’m always chasing the kind of images people look back on years later and still feel something. I would describe myself as creative, sentimental, and enthusiastic, and those pieces of me show up in every session.
I’m based in Oxford, Michigan and travel when my clients need me. My photography style leans natural and candid. I keep sessions easygoing and fun, giving just enough guidance to help you feel comfortable while still letting your true personality and relationships come through. I want you to remember how relaxed the session felt and how natural it was to simply be yourself.
My editing style is enhanced yet true to life. I want your photos to feel like a polished version of the day without losing the authenticity of the moment.
I love photographing families, small business owners, animal lovers, and groups who share a special bond with their animals. If you value genuine connection and photos that tell a story, we’re probably a great fit.
I believe the best photos come from real connection. My sessions are built to capture honest moments, natural emotion, and the relationships that matter most.
Feeling comfortable is everything. I create a relaxed, easygoing environment so you can be yourself and enjoy the experience from start to finish.
Whether it’s families, small business owners, or people with the animals they love, I focus on photographing the relationships that tell your story.
